BMWi launches the ELECTRIC POWER II support programme

Under its programme entitled "ELECTRIC POWER II: Electric Mobility – Positioning Along the Value Chain", the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) will support research and development projects over the next three years in order to give Germany a substantial boost in international competition in the field of electric mobility.

This support programme is part of a comprehensive measures package by BMWi to implement the goals laid down in the National Action Plan for Electric Mobility. Funding under the programme is to focus on electric mobility as part of a state-of-the-art electricity market design which is the key element of Germany's energy transition. The programme also aims to strengthen the value chain of electric mobility in production, to further develop inductive charging systems in public areas, and to address cross-cutting topics, such as legal, security and data protection issues.

As a member of the scientific research and impact research of the funding program, LHLK is responsible for the coordination of public relations.

More information is available in a press release.
