DriveNow is launched in Milan

Our client DriveNow is going to take over Italy with its BMW and MINI. Together with Milan’s mayor the carsharing company launched the first Italian location. The Milanese are excited about the new free-floating offer in their city: Since the beginning of October 26.000 costumers have subscribed for DriveNow so far.

Customers can now spontaneously hire and flexibly park 480 automobiles within a business area of 126 square kilometers. 20 electric BMWi3 will join the fleet within the next month. The fashion capital is DriveNow’s eleventh city.

As usual with DriveNow, foreign customers can also opt for the service. The automobiles can be opened using the DriveNow app, the DriveNow customer card or a BMW customer card.

Counting well over 700,000 customers and a fleet of some 5,000 vehicles, DriveNow ranks as one of the biggest car sharing companies in the world. LHLK supports DriveNow, the German market leader, in corporate communication since 2012.
